About Us
At Goldtrop Fishing we are a tight-knit crew of childhood friends who grew up on the Pembrokeshire coast in West Wales.
During our travels to Bali, with the aim to catch some big game fish and see what the surf is all about, we stumbled upon a hidden gem that the UK fishing industry hasn’t seen before.
Handcrafted wooden lures are here to change the game. These lures are not mass-produced junk that peel and fade. They are super realistic and made with love and passion, by a wood carving, paint spraying wizard. Each lure has its own story and it’s like fishing with a piece of art. Our choice of palette has been inspired by the countless hours exploring the shallow rocky terrain and deeper kelp seabed’s. The streamlined shape, and electric streaks of blue, green, and silver are unrivalled in enticing a monster onto the end of your rod.
Our aim is to be pioneers of a new wave of fishing in the UK. Fishing isn’t just a sport for us, it’s a lifestyle. Embracing the catch and cook culture and living the dream we’ve had since childhood. We’ve all seen the sports fishing culture in the US, Central America, and Australia and now we’re on a mission to bring that same energy to the UK.
Gold Trop Fishing isn’t just a brand, it’s a movement. We’re fostering a connection between anglers and the hands that create these works of art and we’re looking for ambassadors to join us on the ride. #GoldTropFishing
